Out of all of the days out we have done, this was one we were all really looking forward to. However, there was a level of aprehension because of the noise.
So, in the car went the packed lunches, some blankets and ear defenders.
Tickets were booked in advance, however when we go again, we will book a space for the car at the top of the spectators area.
The tickets allow you to sit anywhere within the spectators area, so we found a grass bank, plenty of space for the kids to burn off some eneergy if they wanted a run around. We always try and get to events like this early when there aren’t many crowds around and allow the crowds to gather around us. This did mean we had a long wait until the start, but we had a wonder arounf the pits looking at the different cars, including Hot Rods, Classic Rods, Bangers.
