Today, we had the pleasure of visiting the enchanting Cotswold Farm Park in the heart of the stunning Cotswolds region. It was an unforgettable experience that allowed us to immerse ourselves in the beauty of nature while learning about the fascinating world of farming.
As we arrived at the farm, we were greeted by the picturesque landscape of rolling hills.
This time of year there was a Flower Festival and a Maize Maze. Nestled in the middle of the Maize Maze were some tractor go karts for kids of all sizes and ages to have a go, yes that means adults as well.

One of the highlights of our visit was the opportunity to meet and interact with the animals. We had the chance to feed some of the animals including the different breeds of sheep and goats.

The packs of food can be bought for £2 per bag.
There was also the chance to bottle feed sheep and goats, this is available twice during the day, and queues can form very quickly. The kids (and adults) were overjoyed with these hands-on experiences, and it was incredible to see their faces light up with wonder and excitement.
Another aspect of the farm park that left a lasting impression was the educational aspect. Throughout our visit, we encountered informative displays and signs that taught us about the various species of farm animals, their roles in agriculture, and the importance of sustainable farming practices. The passion and dedication of the staff in sharing their knowledge was evident, and we left the farm park with a newfound appreciation for the hard work that goes into providing us with the food we eat.
Not just about about the animals
Aside from the animals, Cotswold Farm Park also boasted beautiful gardens, picnic areas, and play areas for the children. We enjoyed a delightful picnic lunch surrounded by nature’s beauty, followed by a stroll through the vibrant flower gardens. The kids had a blast on the playground, their laughter echoing through the farm park.
As the day drew to a close, we couldn’t help but feel a sense of contentment and gratitude. Our visit to Cotswold Farm Park not only offered us a fantastic day out, but it also allowed us to reconnect with nature, learn about farming, and create precious memories as a family.
