Wren's Nest National Nature Reserve, Wren’s Hill Road, Dudley, DY1 3SB
We went to Wrens Nest Nature Reserve in Dudley, due to there being the possibility of finding fossils. Not sure where to park, we ended up parking in a car park next to some football pitches.
Having never been there before we weren’t sure where to go, so we set off and followed a path to see where it lead. Wish we had a map. We got so far through and crossed a road, this then led to the quarrys where the fossils can be found.
There are some steep steps down into the quarry, but then plenty of space to explore, plenty of hills of rock to climb and hunt for fossils.
